Huaraz
If you like to go hiking, then look no further!
This city has so many mountain trails to go explore because it is at the base of the Andes Mountains. One of the famous mountains is the signature mountain of the logo of the Paramount Production company. Huaraz also contains the highest mountain in Peru, which is the Huascaran at around 6,700 meters (around 22,000 ft) above sea level. The hiking trail we explored were "Laguna 69" and "Laguna Churup"
Laguna 69: Beautiful lagoon when you reach the top of the trail. An altitude of 4,604 meters (15,100 ft) above sea level to reach the "Laguna 69".
Laguna Churup: Not as pretty of a lagoon like Laguna 69, but definitely a challenging trail since you have to climb up a few ropes at a complete vertical angle of 90 degrees. Altitude of 4,450 meters (14,600 ft) above sea level to reach to the "Laguna Churup".
